The
wait is over, the German car manufacturer, recently launched the Audi
RS6 Avant in India. Audi seems pretty aggressive with its product
strategy as far as the Indian car market is concerned. which clearly
shows from the fact that the company has decided to launch a total of 10
brand new Audis in the country. The launch of the Audi A3 Cabriolet
followed by the launch of Audi RS6 Avant, confirms their strategy.
On June 4, 2015 Audi India launched the Audi RS6 Avant, with a price tag of Rs 1.35 Crore. The performance based estate version of the A6 has now been planned by the company to be brought in the country as CBUs, which Audi is going to portray as a halo model.

The
Audi RS6 Avant is
power packed with a 4.0-litre turbocharged TFSI V8 engine that churns
out 560bhp of
power along with a massive 700Nm of torque. This mighty engine is
coupled to an 8-speed automatic transmission box, which powers all four
wheels, this was made possible
with the help of Audi's Quattro AWD system which in turn enables the
Avant to achieve an
acceleration of 0-100kmph in under 4 seconds. While the power packed
estate can attain a top speed of over 300kmph but the company might
restrict its top speed to 250 for Indian roads.
The
side features standard 20-inch wheels, which will house the 19-inch
perforated and ventilated disc brakes. The A6 will also offer an
optional upgrade to 21-inch wheels with 20-inch carbon ceramic brakes.
With all these features the A6 will surely provide a tough competition
to competitors like Mercedes E63 AMG Estate and Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake
in international car markets.
